Effective: June 1, 2025
In extension to our general privacy policy, you will find additions referring to our Falcon software below.
We process your personal data in order to provide you with our Falcon software solution and to optimize it for your use.
Within the scope of the contractual provision of the software, your personal data is used for the following topics.
1. Registration and Login
Our website offers a registration option for our web-based project management software Falcon. To access this service, you are required to register for a Falcon account by providing an email address and password and providing us with any additional information we request. You will do this by providing us with accurate, complete and up-to-date registration information about yourself. It is your responsibility to ensure that your password is confidential and secure. By registering, you agree that you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your username and password. We can assume that all communications we receive through your account were made by you.
The personal data entered during registration will be transmitted to us. The data is stored by us for internal use only. During registration, the IP address of the user and the date and time of registration are stored. This is to prevent misuse of the services. The data will not be passed on to third parties. An exception is made if there is a legal obligation to pass on the data or if there are other reasons that justify passing it on.
The registration of the data is required for the provision of content or services. Registered persons have the possibility to have the stored data deleted or changed at any time. The concerned person will receive information about the personal data stored by him/her at any time.
If you use our invitation service to invite third parties to the services, we will ask you for their contact information and automatically send them an invitation. Nordantech stores the information you provide to send the invitation, to register third parties if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our invitation service.
When using the Services, you are able to upload or enter various types of content, including, for example, tasks, project names, team names and conversations (collectively, the "Content"). If you use the Services in conjunction with a user account created by a Nordantech customer (e.g., employer, organization or individual), we will collect and process the content you submit on behalf of the customer. Our customers largely determine their own policies regarding storage, access, modification, deletion, sharing and retention of content that may apply to your use of the Services. For example, a customer can provide or withdraw access to services, manage permissions, transfer or assign teams, or share projects. Please check with the individual Nordantech customer for the policies and settings that have been set up regarding the content you provide when using the Services.
The legal base for data processing under this section is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If the purpose of the registration is to conclude a contract with you personally, i.e. not with the company for which you are working, the additional legal base for processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
